From Tree to Ring: Our Process
February 1, 2026
Ever wonder how a piece of raw wood becomes a ring you can wear every day? Here's a look inside our process.
Step 1: Sourcing the Wood
It all starts with finding the right material. We source our wood from trusted suppliers, fallen trees, and reclaimed sources.
Step 2: Stabilization
Raw wood is porous and susceptible to moisture. Before we can turn it into a ring, we stabilize it — infusing the wood with resin under vacuum pressure.
Step 3: Turning
The stabilized wood blank goes on the lathe. Using sharp tools and a steady hand, we shape the ring to the right size and profile.
Step 4: Finishing
The final step is applying a durable finish. We use CA glue finish for most rings — incredibly hard, glossy, and waterproof.
